We are proud to announce that OVOP ARAL products were presented at the largest international food industry exhibition FOODEX 2025, which was held in Tokyo, Japan from March 11 to 14 this year. This important event brought together leading manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world, providing a unique opportunity to showcase our products on the global stage. The OVOP+1 Kyrgyzstan Association, which closely cooperates with the development of the OVOP movement in Central Asia, helped us promote OVOP ARAL products.

The “One Village – One Product” (OVOP) program is being implemented as part of the UNDP project “The Project for Supporting Self-reliance through Climate-resilient Agriculture in the Aral Sea Region” in four districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Chimbay, Kegeyli, Nukus, and Khojeyli) with financial support from the Government of Japan.
The exhibition featured locally produced products, including Bakhtiyar Dzhubaev’s licorice honey, Raushan Sharafatdinov’s capers, and Gulnar Akilbekova’s sesame cookies and sesame oil.
We are pleased that our products have attracted international attention and received positive feedback from food industry professionals. We are confident that participation in the FOODEX exhibition will open new opportunities to expand OVOP Aral’s presence in international markets in the future.
