On August 21, 2025, the Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan, Ms. Akiko Fujii, and the Deputy Head of Mission and Head of the Cooperation Department of the Swiss Embassy in Uzbekistan, Mr. Andrina Fink, paid an official visit to Karakalpakstan.
During the visit, local entrepreneurs presented their projects within the framework of the OVOP initiative, implemented with the financial support of the Government of Japan.
We would like to note that in January of this year, OVOP Aral LLC was officially registered, marking an important step in strengthening the initiative and ensuring its further development.
