From June 19 to 21, 2025, the international environmental exhibition Eco Expo Central Asia 2025 took place in Tashkent, bringing together participants from various countries who are committed to promoting sustainable development and environmentally friendly technologies.
The main goal of the event was to raise awareness about environmental issues and to foster the exchange of knowledge, innovations, and best practices in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
As part of the exhibition, products from the “One Village – One Product” (OVOP) initiative were also presented. These are natural, eco-friendly goods produced by local manufacturers from Karakalpakstan using only locally sourced resources. Participation in Eco Expo Central Asia marked an important step for OVOP in promoting the ideas of sustainable development, supporting local production, and encouraging a more respectful attitude toward nature.
